Objectives
NatureDiverse seeks to make education more inclusive by developing structured, evidence-based nature-based learning activities for children with autism and other neurodiverse profiles. The project also strengthens teachers’ competences through practical training and guidance, helping them create supportive outdoor learning experiences that foster communication, autonomy, wellbeing, and social development. Through European cooperation, NatureDiverse promotes the exchange of good practices and encourages innovative approaches to inclusive education.
Target Groups
The project primarily targets preschool and primary school educators, including mainstream and special education teachers, as well as professionals interested in nature-based learning, Forest School practice, and inclusive educational methods. It also engages school leaders, parents, caregivers, support services, and environmental education stakeholders who can support wider adoption of the project’s approach. Its final beneficiaries are children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disorders, together with learners who benefit from inclusive, engaging, and sensory-aware learning environments.
Duration
NatureDiverse is a 14-month Erasmus+ project running from 01/12/2025 to 31/01/2027. Throughout this period, partners will work together to develop practical educational resources, deliver training activities, and disseminate results that support long-term impact and sustainability.
Erasmus+ Action
NatureDiverse is implemented under Erasmus+ KA210-SCH, Small-scale partnerships in school education. This action is designed to support cooperation between European partners in developing practical solutions for school education. Through this framework, NatureDiverse combines resource development, teacher training, and dissemination activities to promote inclusive and sustainable education practices across Europe. One more small improvement: in your original project info, I would update Website from “To be announced” to https://naturediverse.com/, since that appears in the dissemination plan.
